Appraisal Orders

William Boue & Associates is no longer accepting appraisal orders due to Mr. Boue's retirement.

  As you are probably aware, the entire financial services industry has undergone remarkable changes primarily due to the financial crisis created and perpetrated by the politicians in Washington, D.C.

  The resulting lending and property valuation environment is no longer comprised only of professional bankers, administrators, appraisers, and regulators; instead, the entire process has fallen under the rigid control of politicians and bureaucrats whose every action is geared toward the appearance of correctness, in place of realistic lending and property valuation practices.  Their thinly veiled attempts to shift the spotlight away from their disastrous meddling and intervention that has crippled and almost killed the entire financial services industry, has been to determine that the problem all along has been the independent appraisal process. 

  They first crippled the entire foundation of the mortgage secondary market by forcing FNMA and FHLMC to make a market for sub-par loans which were GUARANTEED to fail.  Unsurprisingly, to fix the problem they themselves created, they decide to add a level of bureaucracy in mandating the advent of AMC's, at the total expense of the appraisers.  

  In the face of this crisis, the leading appraiser professional organization proves to be only interested in its own survival by increasing fees and chasing a global presence instead of trying to address appraiser's real problems.

Some of the results of this unbelievable nightmare is perfectly qualified buyers not being approved for loans, every appraisal report being scrutinized beyond belief, and a dearth of sanity in the entire process of mortgage lending.

Due to these conditions, we have determined to leave the business.
